Hazlet Recreation has the right to approve or decline or cancel any request. Please see the Permit form for more information.

The Key must be returned to the Recreation Office by 11 am the following business day or placed in the night box located on the side of the Municipal Building by the flag pole, or given to another group if only stated by the Recreation Director.

If the key is not brought back, the Permit user is subject to pay for rekeying of the building and/or refusal of future permits.

**Reminder please keep all doors locked at all times, and closed due to Air or Heat in the building.

Cullen Center office and Kitchen is prohibited unless arrangements have been made by the Recreation Director.

REFUND REQUEST:

Recreation Programs & Events
Refunds are available through the first session of a program or before the day of the trip. All refund requests must be made in writing and are subject to approval by the Director of Recreation and the Township Committee in accordance with Township Ordinances.

Approved refunds will be issued via Purchase Order. Checks will be mailed in 6-8 weeks. Please be sure to write legibly. If we need more information we will contact you. All requests will be honored in the following manner:

  • Refund/Cancellations received 14 days prior to program/activity start date to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations/Changes received 7-13 days prior to program/activity start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations/Changes made less than 7 days prior to program dates are not eligible for a refund.
  • Proof of payment required from all participants requesting a refund.
  • SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAMS: No refunds after June 1, except for Summer School. (Proof required.)
  • SWIM & TENNIS CLUB: A 15% administrative fee will be charged for all Swim Club refunds. No refunds after July 4th.
  • SUMMER CAMP: If cancellation is made prior to 5/2/25, a full refund will be provided minus $50 per week per camper. If cancellation is made between 5/3/25- 5/31/25, a refund will be provided minus $75 per week per camper. No refunds to be provided after 5/31/25.
